les schwab tire center bad work on my pickup causing problems on the road clarkston Washington
I went into Les Schwab and had them re-pack the front bearings on my pickup. They didn't even talk to me when I came to get the pickup. they just gave me the keys. I assumed everything was still ok. They charged me around $65.00 for the service. The pickup did not drive correctly from that point on.
I had the front end looked at and they said the aligament was ok and didn't need anything done to it but it still kept schimming a little on the stering wheel and would always pull a little to the right.
Then after thanksgiving this year I had them put on four new tires since the other ones were starting to show some wear since I was planning a long trip to Tucson, AZ. The first 300 miles or so were terrible. It would shimme and pull to the right and I heard a tumping noise that I had never heard before.
I stoped at a Les Schwab tire dealer in Ontorio, Or. He
took one good look at the wheels and told me that had put two wheels on backwards. There is a directional arrow on the chrome wheels that tells you in which way the direction goes. I got that corrected there before taking the rest of the trip to Tucson. When I got into Tucson the pickup was still not stearing right and when you put on the breaks it would throw you to the right. Had the front end looked at and found out that when les schwab repacked the bearings they did not tork the right bearing back in and used old used parts and charged me for new ones.
I would like a credit on the repacking of the front bearings and some credit for the new tires that I bought from them since they couldn't even get the tires on correctly!!!
