Complaint Review: Lenox Capitol or Freedom Resource - Marietta Georgia

I would like to warn people out there not to deal with a company called Freedom Resources or Lenox Capitol. If they call hang up on them. They lie and deceive people out of money. This is the first time I have ever been scammed, but it will be the last.

On June 20th of this year I received a call from a representative from Freedom promoting a Visa credit card with a credit limit of 2500.00 and no interest. This sounded great because I could never get a card for that amount. Well dumb me gave them my acct info and they deducted 221.95 from my account on the 28th of June.

This is now August and I still do not have a card. I call them at least once a week, costing myself more money because they keep you on hold forever. Every time I call there is a different excuse why I haven't received my credit card. First they tell me the card will be sent in 10 to 15 days. No card. I call again this time they say it will take 15 to 21 days to process.

I'm a little irritated, but I'm understanding. Day 24 no card now I'm pissed off. I call again this time I talk to a woman named Tamica. She tells me that the computers were down for a month and that it was taking them longer to get the card out. I told her that I was very dissatisfied. She told me to call her back in a week on Tues the 6th of Aug to be exact and that she would give me the date my card will be sent.

Well I call like she requested , First they never even let me talk to this supposed Tamica. I told the lady that I was speaking to that I either wanted the card or my money back. She became irritated at me and gave me an attitude. I told her that I would be contacting the BBB due to fact that I am not getting a straight answer. This b.... had the gull to say I must have misinturbed what they said.

By now I am fuming. I know what they said to me because I have documentation of the calls. And can you believe the gull of these people they still won't tell me when my card will be sent. These people lie and lie and looks like they keep getting away with this. I didn't find out anything out about this company until I went online and read from Ripoff.com and the BBB that they have a delay problems in getting the cards out and that other people are dissatified with there service.

They are also misleading people. They told me I was getting a credit card..... not a card to buy stuff from them in there catalogs, as I have read in the BBB.Sense when do we as consumers have to pay money to a company to buy something from there company. Aren't there laws out there for companies that knowingly mislead and misrepresent themselves.

If there are please let me know because I will do what I have to to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.Consumers BEWARE this company is crooked. All there after is your $221.95 and that's it. The one thing that I'm really upset over, is in the end I won't end up with a credit card that I needed badly for medical reasons because I can't be covered by health insurance due to pre-existing health conditions.

I trusted this company and they screwed me in more ways then one.Remember always check a company out before you give them a dime. I knew better, but they scammed me anyways. If you feel something is not right go with your instinct. You have control of the phone not them and you have the power to hang up.
