Leisure Time Resources They called me on 6/21 stating that I had to renew my account with them as my credit card had expired. Cape Coral Florida
On June 21, 2018, I received a phone call from this company talking about if I did not cancel my renewal I would have to pay $79 a month, so in order to keep myself from paying this amount I cancelled renewal and signed up to do payments of $59.90 a month for 20 months for four different magazines. During this phone call, when I asked how I signed up they were unable to give me any answers.
I wanted to know how I signed up for this company so when contacted by their customer service I tired to get more information. They reported I could have signed up through a number of their vendors, but where unable to give which vendor and when. When I tired to get out of the deal due to the lack of information, they told me I had three options to either continue the payments of $59.90 a month for 20 months, or to cancel 539.10.
I decided to dispute this claim and asked them for proof that I had signed and any evidence I had received any magazine or services from them. I think they were just trying to record me agreeing to the paymnents and when I refused they got very obnoxious and belligerent with me. I think they try to entrap you into agreeing to pay the $59.90 for 22 months and collect on it without sending any goods or merchandise. Even if they did, it is not worth almost $1200.00. This a complete fraud.
