Leisure Plus scammed my bank account. didnt even know they had my financial information! Plano Texas
I signed up with a company called Realty partner to help my Mom find a new home. They turned out to be comletely fraudelent, so I immediately cancelled my account.
When I paid them the $1 for a list of homes, they apparently sold my information to several other companies. I received phone calls from solicitors, but no harm done. One day I received a letter from Savings2go saying I could redeem a $10 gas card and would receive a month of free membership. I never sent in the gas card, and subsequently forgot to cancel the service. They billed me $12.95.
I kicked myself for forgetting, then noticed another charge of $12.95 immediately following the savings2go charge. It was a company named leisure plus, which I had never heard of. I googled it and found only a website. It asked for my membership information, which I never got seeing as how I didn't even know I was a member. I called the number and was prompted to enter my telephone number, and was then given a member login number identical to the login for savings2go, only off by one digit.
I logged in and found the website to be exactly the same as savings2go. I called attempting to complain, and get at least some of my money back, and was told that the office was closed at 8:30am on a wednesday.
I still have no answers and no idea how they got my bank account information.
