Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Their initial offering is the loss leader. They let you try their product, however, this is just a ruse. The real chicanery happens after they have determined how much money you have and how much you can make. Eric is a master manipulator! Here is a list of my objections to the company:

1. They will tell you something on the phone and then send an email to you with different information. If you don't record every conversation you will miss the changes. Also your contract will reflect what they want regardless of what they told you.

2. They tell you that by doing their program you will have real world knowledge but you won't. If you don't come in with significal knowledge you will have to lie to get a job.

3. In order to make sure you can keep the job Eric will talk you into hiring his team, his brother (nice guy, smart) and a guy who works for the DOD. This DOD guy I guess has too much time on his hands so he sub contracts to Eric while on duty at the base in Colorado. Somehow they think this is ok. I think it's Daniel Pirez.

4. They will get you to feel that you need them by saying things like, "do you possess these qualities", like are you good enough for our membership! I was good enough until I challenged Eric, then he got mad and said who approved your membership anyway. He likes to find someone else to blame for any issues. In this case he approved me and I told him and he looked through his database and then got really quiet.

5. They record what they want to about you and use it to strong arm you.

6. The contracts are not clear and they change regularly. You will be given a list of services but never told what that entails. This makes it impossible to argue that you never recieved them. For example, I was promised CCNA certification. They provided exam dumps and told me to memorize the dumps and not worry about learning the technology. This cost about $4000. When I didn't pass they took away my access to the dumps!

7. They will start you on every service in the contract right away. This is done to make sure that if you decide to stop they can say, "you had access to that product so you won't get a discount or refund." They also lump several different services together. For example, I needed CCNA certs but they added in CCIE and CCNP to the same product. Well why would anyone need CCIE or CCNP until after they passed the CCNA. These are all over priced.

8. Your fees are deferred until you receive a job offer. This is deceptive and is what usually draws you into spending too much. My contract was a little different but when it came to a job offer they wanted me to pay right away! They don't even wait till your first paycheck.

9. Shared accomidations and uncomfortable beds. While at camp you will share a room with someone else or multiple people. Eric has his staff living in the houses that camps are run through. If you are a woman you may get your own room. The beds are the cheapest I have ever slept on. I wouldn't even buy them for my kids.

10. They do not provide a clear record of your account. I tired to get them to recognize payments that I had made but they do not provide that. I think they don't want you to realize how much this is costing you.

11. Their advocacy program is nothing more than one more way to get you to think you are getting a good deal. You pay to become a member and get ZERO benefits, you then are indebited to LANWAN PROFESSIONAL for 3-5 years or you will be asked to pay extra. An associate package goes for $61,000 right now. The same services from an actual Cisco Partner is much less

12. They tell you that you have received certifications from them but they give nothing so when asked you will have nothing to show your employer.

13. Membership is based on what Eric thinks you will make and how much money you have on hand. He told me that he only approved me for the delux super expensive package because he thought I had a lot of money.

If you decide to hire this company you will find out these truths for yourself....BIG WARNING.....

Eric pushes his members that he cannot control to settle and makes them sign a gag order which stops them from talking about the company. You will have a hard time finding lots of people who write these reports because of the gag order. In my time with Lanwan professionl I met and worked with over 30 professionals. I can remember 2 of them who had good things to say about the company.

Grant to pay for services

In my experience the use of the word GRANT is another tricky marketing scheme. If you listen carefully and read their documentation it says the grant is on a sliding scale. You can get up to the entire amount paid but to do that you need to get through 8 labs during a timed test.

Of course there are other fees charged like the house they run their business out of has beds and if you stay with them, I think you have to, you get charged. So if you are thinking there will be no out of pocket I didn’t meet anyone who enjoyed that.

In reality these guys are salesmen and all they do is sell you what they want. They will listen and steer you towards a solution that they make the most money off. That solution will be based on how much they think they can get from you.

I almost jumped all the way in last year. is the remote stuff in part 1 training free? Or do they try and charge you for it even though they claim your training is covered by a grant???
