In March of 2016 our current mortgage company contaced me to see if I would like to refinance my current VA loan to a VA IRRL loan. THe stated that Lakeview Loan Servicing would contact me if I agreeded. I did let Cenlar have lakeview contact my. A couple of days passed and a representative named Ryan Joseph Fitzpatric from Lakeview Loan called. We discussed my current VA loan intrest rate and my current loan monthly payment. Ryan stated he could lowe ny intrest rate from 4.25% to 3.75% and lower my mortgage payment. He stated we would need to submit all of the standard loan documents and he would gt back to me. in approximately 2 weeks Ryan called and stated he could lower may mortgage from $1896.00 to $1509.00 per month.l I asked if the was with all my cueernt insurance and taxes impounded and Ryan said the new loan would be the same as my surrent. I thought this was great and that Lakeview ahd all of the information since Lakeview wrote ny previous loan. Ryan got all of the paperwork prepaired and had a escrow company Nations Escrow Services of Clifornia send out a notary Public agent. Durin the signing we inquired about the impound fees and the Notary stated they were in the documents. THe notary read each page handed my wife an I the page to sigh and initial. All was done until a year later. In February if 2017 we were notified that we were $3644 short on our escrow account and our Mortgager ompany Cenlar was rasing our monthly payment to $1,864 per nonth to cover the escrow shortage. We immediately called Lakeview (Rayn Joseph Fitzpatric) to find out why Lakeview faild to properly calculate our impound account. Ryan never return our 10 calls. We called Cenlar and they said tough luck call Lakeview. We also called The escor company Nations escorw and one of their managers said that he would no let this happen. Guess what he never called back. Now we found out hat Lakeview also did not impound our insurance for the new loan. We paid over $6,000.00 to have our loan efinanced and now we are paying more per month than our original VA loan. Lakeview is a predatory lender taking advantage of Vetrans and Senoir citizens. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LAKEVIEW OR CENLAR. They are one company.
