I purchase a new 2024 Promaster Class B Van on the 21st. of February 2024 drove it for 3 days and liked it but in the back of my head was that voice of the sales manager recomanding that mercedes 4x4 build by Tiffin best bang for the buck and top quality with the latest and greates most reliable Lithium system, but 40k more,as I was on the way back to texas I played with the numbers in my head and figured out a way to stomach that extra cost plus of course the loss on my trade in. So next morning I went back and spend 9 hours at the dealership to complete the deal where I left at 7PM. I drove the coach only 30 miles, slept in it but had to return the next day to the dealership as the battery system was not charging, one of the lights was not working and there was a loud noise coming from the heater,so here we go,long story shorter after hanging around the dealership for 6 hours and they still had not fixed the issues because the lithium system is to new and had to make endless phone calls to get an answer without succes where I have to say the service guys where very helpfull, but I had to get back to Texas, with that said I asked them just to unwind the deal and give me my old Rig back for a 42K loss plus the other 20k I just lost on the trade Inn,absolutely absurd so I voiced my oppinion, than a very helpfull Lady came out and said she made a phone call to corporate and they are willing to take a $25000.00 CASH ONLY payment and for me to agree to never have owned that merceds, which was ared flag to me still outrageous for just undoing the paperwork as my Promaster was still sitting there untouched as I left it! I did not see a way out of it at this point and seddled for a CASH Payment of $ 15000.00 as I felt like they have a knife at my troat and I have to go back home to Texas. If they would have been fair without that Corporate Greed they could have kept a customer Happy with no harm or financial burdon, but now created a very upset customer which will share his experiance all over the plattform,so was it worth it La Mesa? Screwing one guy over and have bad puplicity all over the internet, you be the judge.

I am not sure that you understand the process to buy a vehicle.  When you sign on that dotted line, the vehicle becomes yours.  When you trade it in, you are selling it to the dealership, for the worst possible price. This isn't Wal-mart, you don't get to return something just because you don't like it, because it's not as good as you thought it was, or even because it doesn't work.  You have a warranty, but that basically just gives you the right to ask for the unit to be fixed.  You can't just bring it back and expect the dealer to take it.  Besides, they usually can't take it anyway.  Once you purchased it, it becomes a USED vehicle.  USED vehicles are worth a lot less than NEW vehicles.

So it sounds like you bought vehicle A, sold it back, bought vehicle B, sold it back, then bought vehicle A again.  No wonder you got ripped off.  But it's not really the dealer's fault, it's your own fault.  Test driving a vehicle is something that should happen BEFORE you decide to buy it, not afterwards.  And RVs in particular invariably have quality issues, so you have to check over the rig THOROUGHLY **PRIOR** to buying it.
