L.A. Fitness International, LLC I used to be a member of LA fitness in 2005. I joined the gym the manager or the rep asked me to join the 14 day trial training membership. The offer he proposed seemed too good and hence I did sign up as a fool. Irvine California
I used to be a member of LA fitness in 2005. I joined the gym and while I was signing up the manager or the representative of LA fitness asked me to also join the 14 day trial training membership. The offer he proposed seemed too good and hence I did sign up as a fool.
Within 2 weeks I realized that I wasn't cut out for the training and when I went back to the same guy who signed me up and told him that I was no longer interested in the training sessions he assured me that it will be taken care off and I should just enjoy my gym membership. After a conversation of 25 mins it was all settled that I was going to continue with the gym for a while but wont be needing the training sessions any more.
It was cancelled at that time but after a year I got a call from the credit collections department that I owe Body of Change (the training group of LA fitness) $900+. I was literally shocked. Now apparently after talking to LA fitness and body of change who are now under one company, that there is a collections on my credit and my credit is being badly effected.
This is totally not fair. I don't have any paper work to prove anything otherwise since it was 3 years back and it was all taken care of.
