Krispy Kreme Krispy Kreme: HOT SIGN OFF Winston-Salem North Carolina
I've worked for Krispy Kreme for approximately eight years. I was recently laid off due to 'workforce reduction. I've recently tried to claim my severance pay which was denied due to they are claiming I didn't fulfill my obligation on the last day of employment. I've called the Human Resources office and all I've gotten is rude service. I thought 'Human' Resources were there to help the employees? Not only do I think I'm being ripped off my severance pay which was owed to me and I truly believe this is retaliation for informing the public of Krispy Kreme's questionable practices. Practices that included racism, poor working conditions and how they sold 'old' doughnuts, because it was "cost effective". I felt an obligation to my customers because I'm a consumer and I would wanna know what I'm spending my money on. My feelings don't change when I'm 'behind the counter'. People should know about the shady practices that goes on behind closed doors of one of the biggest corporations.
