American On 11/28/2016 my wife and I stopped at IHOP for lunch and just after I parked I heard a "bang" with lots of steam and green liquid on the ground. I called Performance Kings Honda and had AAA bring my Honda Odyssey to them. I told the young lady service writer that I thought a radiator hose broke and I needed a loaner and I might as well have the oil changed and was changed around $140 as the cost to diagnose the problem was $100. I was told that you probably wouldn't get to it till Monday because of the holiday and that was fine with me. I received a call later in the day telling me that I had blown the master cylinder and the cost to repair it would be $1600. I told her that it was hard to believe because brake fluid isn't green but antifreeze is. She said she would double check with the tech and get back to me. She did and said the master cylinder had blown and I could come in and see for myself. I told her I had to think about it.

On 12/30/2016 I called and told them i was coming in to see and pick it up as the $1600 for repairs was way high and my local local shop had quoted me $500 for the same job. When I arrived I asked if the car was drivable and was told no and wouldn't take me to it and didn't give me the keys when I paid the $52. When the tow truck came ( that's when I got the keys) and the driver loaded my van I asked "how did you do that, it has no brakes ?" It does he said. When we arrived at my home the driver backed my van off his truck and told me he pumped the brakes several times and they worked just fine. We popped the hood and the brake fluid was full but the radiator was empty and radiator fluid was all over the engine. This is the most dishonest experience I have ever had, i don't trust Kings Honda anymore. I think service writer and the tech saw an opportunity to cheat an elderly, handicapped person ( i need a walker but can use a cane for short distances) who wouldn't know the truth.

After I found that there was nothing wrong with the master cylinder and my van had a broken upper radiator hose I called the service manager, Ash Mall, and told him about the issue. He asked me if he could have the van picked up so he could see for himself, I said okay but said that I expect it to be returned to my home and he agreed to. I then get a call from a service writer telling me that my car had a broken upper hose and that they had fixed it but that I should have the lower host replaced because it was ready to go. That's when I got angry and. told her and sent an email to Ash. They lied to me, they tried to fleece me out of $1600 for a needless repair when the van could have been repaired for $200. After my email I was called and told that they had replaced both hoses and would give me a store credit for the $52 that I had been charged and give me 2 free oil changes, I laughed, what a joke after all the games that they had played with me.I asked about the $80 that I had to pay to have it towed and was told that they would add that to the $52 store credit. I'm NEVER going back there, I do NOT trust them and have sent another email asking them to credit my credit card and cut me a check for the towing cost to get my van home. They did bring my van back yesterday 1/5 with 2 new hoses and The radiator protected to 40 below. I have nothing to show if at I have a store credit,
