KEMPER INSURANCE TRIED TO s****.!
I was hit by a gas truck in my 1971 Chevy Nove (restored an beautiful). The gas comapny who was insured by Kemper Insurace admitted liability. Kemper insurace offered us $1400 for our restored Nova. We gave them recipets for over $7000 in work we had done within the past 2 years (plus we bought the car for 3 grand). Still they said-nope its totaled and only worth $2500. We got an independant estimate saying the damages would cost $5000 to fix.
They said No. And sent us a check for $2500 and told us to get lost. We had to hire a certified appraiser (with our own money) to prove that the car was worth more than $2500. The appraiser appraised the cars value at $9000. Kemper Insurance ignored us. We took them to court and got the 5 grand to fix the car, the cost of the adjuster refunded to us, time for missed work and punitive damages.
Dont do business with this company- they try to take advantage of people.

if you only knew that kemper doesnt specialize in classic cars. all the major insurance companies will only insure a car even if classic at blue book value which is basically nothing..... what you needed to do was insure your car with a co. that specializes in classic cars so you can insure your car for stated value not blue book. it was also your fault in the first place for signing paperwork for a policy and not knowing what your policy actual covered. I mean if i had a valuable classic car that i needed insured, i would have made sure before i left that my car was covered for a specific amount.
