Keep It Clean Carpet Care Carpet cleaner scam hits again ripoff Portland Oregon
I am 84 years old and once again I'll never call from an ad. I got this ad that sounded terrific - 8 area cleaned for 69.95. My carpet were pretty clean. I just wanted a freshen-up. The carpet cleaner called twice and insisted I get it done early so I rushed home from work and attempted to get the house ready in time for him to come 4 hours early. I should have known at this point with such bad business manners as to call me at work and persuade me to get home early.
Anyways when the man arrives to clean my carpet I couldn't even tell he was a carpet cleaner with long shorts to his knees and a very bad demeanor. He asked be to show him around and everywhere we went in each room he pointed out what he could not move. After the walkthrough he scurried to the chair and sat down and told me I needed a 165 deep clean everywhere and that I neeeded to buy 450 in a protectant which my carpet store told me is 10 year stain and soil resistant. So now my 70 cleaning goes to a crazy amount.
This is very dishonest and almost is like victimizing the weak and elderly. I called the company to complain only to be told " shut up" by the owner of the company. DO NOT CALL keep it clean carpet care
