Kars-yes Inc Aka Drivetime Aka Ugly Duckling rip-off! dishonest fraudulent overbilling; refund due $575- can't find company. Costa Mesa California
placed in collections in 2001 for $975. blew off collection agency until recently. pulled all of my records together and found the following:
1. on contract a "promotion discount" of 515.70 was in fact ADDED to my total rather than subtracted.
2. my documented receipts prove that I paid $6971.40;
I only owed $6918.85 according to the incorrectly
added contract.
THEREFORE:
515.70 promotion discount
52.55 overpayment

568.25 ttl. cash overpayment DUE TO ME
PS. - no idea where they came up with figure of $975 due
the numbers just don't make sense
I AM IN COLLECTIONS FOR THIS ACCOUNTING DEBACLE- I NEED TO FIND A WAY TO CONTACT THIS COMPANY IN ORDER TO SHOW THEM MY RECEIPTS.
