Judson Driving School outlandish no excuses "no show" fees, exorbitant "administarative" fees. The business that doesn't give a d**n! Conversw Texas
My daughter saved her money for months to pay for her drivers education course. Upon completion of the classroom portion at Judson Driving School she began the "behind the wheel" training. She had attended four out of the seven driving sessions when she became ill and had to be hospitalized.
I called and notified the Judson Driving School (on their voice mail) early that afternoon advising them that she would not be attending that evening and why; allowing them more than enough to find another student to take her place.
On my message I also asked that some one return my call. I called them again later in the evening when I didn't receive a call back from them and was told that a $25.00 "no show" fee would have to be paid before she could resume her lessons. I was told by the manager/owner Cheryl that no excuses were accepted. Not even hospitalization.
This seemed MOST unusual to me not to mention extremely poor customer relations/service. I told Cheryl due to the poor business practices of her company I wanted a refund of our balance but after the "no show" fee and the $50.00 "administrative fee" we would be due no refund. I am appalled at the lack of sensitivity this business owner projected. To charge a $25.00 no show fee to some one who was hospitalized is the epitome disrespect.
Then to fleece them further with a $50.00 "administrative fee" to cancel is the ultimate RIPOFF!! Oh, she spouts off about the contact agreement and that my well be so but hospitalization is out of ones control and some circumstancial leeway should be given in the name of customer relations.
I'd sure like to see a break down justifying that $50.00 administrative fee. What a horrible experience it was to deal with Judson Driving School. I would NEVER....EVER.....Recommend them, they don't care.
