Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
8/19/02- The FTC asked for a restraining order from the District Court of CA.

(3) Alleged-

1. Misrepresenting client-says they will be able to pay off at 40-50%.

2. Says consumer will not be contacted by creditor.

3. Says credit report will not have a negative status after creditors are paid.(All of those statements are not true.)

8/20/02-District Court granted FTC's restraining order...freezing ALL accounts that Jubilee and Jabez Financial have.

Ken from the FTC gave this advice: Please contact all your creditors and he is very very sorry but don't get your hopes up. There might be a refund but it is very unlikely.

He will be contacting me with a Hot Line phone number to call when they set it up. Or he will post it himself on this rip-off report.

SO HERE IS WHAT I PROPOSE WE DO:

Class action suit. I am in contact with an Attorney now and would appreciate anyone's email address, ie: name and phone number emailed to me if you are interested in this suit. I will forward that to the Attorney who will be handling the case.

Good Luck.

Thanks for reading.

I was a consumer also fooled by Jubilees promises who is presently paying the price for being a bit simple and disregarding the if it seems too good to be true adage. I am presently being sued by the last of my creditors and my once great credit is unlikely to ever recover. In fact, I left Jubilee with higher indebtedness then I began. Is there anyone who knows what recourse the 'ripped off' has? I am a NY resident struggling to recover.

to all those who were violated by Jubilee, I'm still in shock. what now? I've been with Jubilee for over 2 years too. I really had trouble understanding the program in the first place, I've never done anything like this before, frankly, I'm very embarassed to even think of contacting the same people I've been redirecting to jubilee. are there any programs out there that have happy clients? that are reputable? that have the time to do the footwork? I chose Jubilee in the first place because I don't have what it takes to nogotiate finances. nor the time to make the necessary calls and certainly no money for a lawyer. no money! is there a listing of success stories? Please forward a happy ending thank you

Heidi, Hope to get a hold of you. I am also a client with Jubilee Financial. If the FTC has frozen all the accounts, does that mean that they will be able to not take any money out of my checking account for this month, or any more months? I really need to know this on what is going on. You seem to be the source to get the info which helps alot (explains why I kept getting busy signals for over a week with this stupid company). Let me know on what to do to help with trying to getting a law suit started. Thanks,
