Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I recently had my eletric services shut off in my apartment. Jones Hall Associates is the landlord. I live on SSI so I live in a subsidized building os disabled and senior citizens. Heat is included in our rent, but you have to pay your own electricity. I have been told and threatened by the super of this building with, "if I don't get my electric services turned back on in two weeks, that I am going to be evicted". I was told by this man that I cannoit live in my apartment more than two weeks without electricity.

I was also sent a letter by an attorney that DEMANDS that I "cease and decist" well, my spelling may be incorrect, but it is demanding that I stop using candles in my aprtment because I am endangering the residents in the building.

My first question, is how do they know if I am using candles in my apartment or not? I am now assuming that the super or managment has been in my apartment without my knowledge or consent because they all have keys to our apartments and can enter them at will. How would they know if I am using candles? To have an attorney send me a letter telling me that I better stop using them? I was also threatened by eviction if I keep using candles, who ever heard of such a thing?

Second, I am using some battery operated lamps and flashlights that my sister gave me, plus in the daytime, I do not need to use anything. Besides, what about people who smoke in their aparyments or who burn insence? Also, what about those scented candles that people burn? People have candles parties and sell candles that people burn in ther houses for scents. Besides, I only used candles for two days, and they were not the stick candles, they were the big candles that come in the jars; even if they were to fall over they would not cause a fire, they would just go out because of the liquid inside that they produce. Besides, do they actually think, I want to harm myself or my own apartment, where would I live?

Now, today, I had no heat, and I was told by the security guard that because I had no electricity, that is why I have no heat. My heat has nothing to do with my electricity, my heat is inlcuded in my rent. I am a disabled person and I do not need this. I have been my apartment for years, and I have not had any trouble until this new managment came in. I am tired of being harassed and bullied for no reason. There were plenty of people in my building who had their electric service turned off, and for more than two weeks, one man was even using the plug in the hallway by his door. I want them to "cease and decist" harassing and bullying me.

I want to know what legal and monetary actions I can take against these people, and I am ready to name names. Dorothy is the current manager in my building. I am ready to take any legal and monetary actions against her, Jones Associates, the super of this building, because he is involved too, as well as anyone else who is involved. Please help me with what steps I need to take. I especially want to know what I can do about these people illegally entering my apartment without my knowledge and consent. Thank you.

Wells Fargo Wells Fargo Checking Debit Card Online Fraud, no temporary credit issued or offered, pending investigation

#2Author of original report

Tue, July 14, 2020

I was a victim on online fraud (cash app fraud) with my Well Fargo debit card.  When I called customer service, first I was told that nothing could be done, because the charges "were authorized" through the card.  I called Wells Fargo fraud number who took down my fraud claim, but it was over 10 transactions resulting in over $4,000.

Instead of temporarily crediting my account like Chase bank did, I have to wait up to 10 business days for them to complete their investigation to even get a response.  I have called in twice already and was given the same response.  Also I was told that I could check the status of my fraud claim on my online bank account and I can't, I have to call in.  Number given to call 1-800-548-9554.

Dorothy Harrington, manager of Jones Halls Associates in Jersey City tirade against innocent victims continues

Dorothy Harrington, manager of Jones Halls Associates in Jersey City, and her "band of unmerry henchmen" continue to illegally enter into the apartments of senior and disabled individuals who reside in this apartment complex. How else would they know what an individual was doing or using in their apartment unless they were in there to see it?

Debra Harrington, manager of Jones Hall Associates in Jersey City, continues to harass disabled individuals

Debra Harrington, manager of Jones Halls Associates in Jersey City and her "band of unmerry henchmen", continue to harass disabled and mentally challeneged persons who reside in this complex, meant for elderly, and disabled individuals. Someone really needs to do something about this. She likes to send threatening letters and make threats to people who really are not in the situation to, or have the capability of adequately defending themselves. I am hoping that someone in authority reads this and investigates, her and her team to make sure that they are following proper protocol, and to stop harassing individuals to whom they just decided to take a disliking to.

Computers usually need electricity to operate? If you do not have electricity? how can you file this report? Contact the electric company. Most of them have some sort of program for people in your situation. A lot of house and appartment fires have been caused by candles. you can not sue. Everyone is always ready to sue. Pay your bill. Or sell your computer to pay the bill. You should be able to get help somewhere, especially, if, as you say, you are disabled. SSI is a State run program, why not contact them too.
