Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Let me start by saying that I don't know how John initially got my email address.  I'm not the sort of person to provide my contact details to strangers on the internet.  But, somehow,

he got it...

John having your email address is like catching an incurable disease.  If the reason that you are here is because you've wound up somewhere in his marketing funnel then I'm sympathetic

to your plight.  We'll be hospital bunkmates together.

When most companies email you without your explicit permission, its irritating but temporary.  You simply unsubscribe from their mailing list and you never hear from them again.

When you wind up on John Crestaini's email list its permanent.

After repeatedly unsubscribing to John's email communications I continued to receive promotional emails from him.

Next, I tried emailing him directly to request that he stop.  I received no response.

I've since filed complaints to his webinar/email campaign providers who are now working on the matter.

As this behaviour in contrary to Canadian and American antispam legislation I intend on taking the issue to them next.  I've been saving copies of unsubscriptions and communications so that

I can put the materials together for my complaint.

I am quite confused how someone who purports to have such excellent affiliate marketing skills can so deliberately dissobey the antispam legislation.  Surely, if his skills were so good, he wouldn't

need to break the law to get the attention of consumers.

This past week I continued to receive comparable emails through the same webinar campaign provider.  This time the emails are coming from Ty Cohen & Mike Balmaceda.  The emails look extremely similar to those which I had been receiving from John Crestani the past few weeks.

I, of course, sent further emails to their webinar campaign provider and also filed complaints with both the Canadian and US anti-spam regulators.

To my delight, I've received the following response from their webinar provider:

We have fully closed down access to the account sending you these emails. As this is against our own policy as well as numerous regulations on this, we take it very seriously, We are also taking action against the users of the IP address utilizing this account. While I cannot say that any messages that were sent before this message reaches you, I am confident that our team has successfully prevented such action from taking place again by this user.

I suspect that it will be at least a few weeks before I hear anything further from the anti-spam regulators.
