I went to this salon and especially to a particular stylist who I had been to many years ago by the name of Joanne.
I trusted that she would do a decent job with my hair because she had done so several years ago. My experience turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare because of her evil sick pathetic ways. This woman is an independent contractor with Mr. B's salon. When I first went to the salon, Joanne was very unfriendly with me.
She never seated me in her chair and was acting strange and haphazard. She quickly asked me what I wanted done to my hair and didn't make clear what she was going to do.
The first thing I told her was that I didn't want short layers because they end up making my hair look incredibly messy and because it took me a long time to grow them out.
She seemed really angry at me for some reason and while she was shampooing my hair, she pressed my head "so hard" that I had to tell her to ease up.
I could sense she was really angry and was just taking her anger out on me. I began being very friendly with her sensing that she might end up sabotaging my hair cut in some way.
She was also really harsh with the shampooing and the shampoo kept splashing in my eyes as a result. When she began doing my hair it took her only five minutes to cut my hair.
I didn't know waht she had done but I still trusted that she would be honest and do a worthy job. When she got done she began to put some kind of balm in my hair and even though my head was very still, her finger somehow managed to hit the inside of my already sensitive eye.
It was very obvious that she did that on purpose also by the annoyed mean look on her face. My eye was hurting after that. She never even apologized for hitting my eye and continued to be rude to me. When I got home, I finally had the chance to see what my hair looked like and it was cut horribly.
The first thing that she did was actually cut SHORT LAYERS in the front, the exact thing I told her not to do. It was also uneven everywhere.
Not only did she do a terrible job cutting my hair but she also treated me terribly on top of that. I was so annoyed with my haircut and treatment that I immediately called the salon back to speak with someone.
I ended up speaking to the owner, Mr. B himself, who acted VERY nice and understanding on the phone, and said that he would try to get my money back. He said when I got my money back from her I could use the money towards getting a haircut from him.
My mother who was also annoyed at the situation called the salon, and Mr B told her that JOANNE was not going to give a refund back.
Mr B told my mother "well she didn't show up for two appointments prior to that" and I was just appalled at their disgusting ridiculous excuses for justifying physical abuse to a customer and purposely giving a customer a bad haircut.
Two times prior to the time I went for my appointment, I had to end up cancelling for personal reasons. Those statements by this evil woman Joanne proved that she purposely discriminated against me and gave me a bad haircut because I cancelled two prior appointments.
I can't even begin to explanation the sickness of her actions and justifications. I can only imagine if physicians or other businesses out there chose to mistreat and abuse their customers or patients because they had previous cancellations.
This troll of a human had absolutely NO RIGHT to put my health in jeopardy because I couldn't make it to previous appointments.
Mr B, who sounded so understanding on the phone when I spoke to him, quickly turned into a jerk as well by not doing anything about what this woman had done to me, despite the fact that she even admitted it and claimed it was because I didn't show up for two appointments.
On top of that I had to end up seeing an eye doctor for the pain. The salon did nothing to compensate for this woman's evil actions and I had to end up getting a refund from my credit card company.
This salon should NOT get away with physically abusing a customer, giving a bad haircut on purpose, and then refusing to compensate for their low evil actions which were even proven by the hair stylist's statements.
Everyone out there should know about this place and this ridiculous sick evil discriminating woman named JOANNE who abuses, mistreats and ripsoff customers just because they cancel an appointment in the past.
This woman is a pathetic disgusting scoundrel and this salon, including MR B support Trash like her and her evil disgusting actions towards innocent customers.

It does seem like many details of the story were hard to believe. But that's not to say they didn't happen. What did you do about it later on? Did you take photos of your botched hair-do when you got home? I would think if you could produce the proof then the salon would not give you a problem with reimbursing you or whatever it is you want. Peace!

First off, if Joanne really did everything you say, it's certainly inexcusable. It takes a disturbed person to take out their anger out on a customer. But I'm not sure I believe every detail of your story. That doesn't mean it's not true, just that I find it hard to believe. If she really hit your already sensitive eye, I would think you would make it known you had been hurt. Wouldn't you have drawn back, or winced, or at least say something so it was known she had hurt you? Also, if she butchered your hair that badly, I have a hard time believing you wouldn't see it before you left. There are mirrors all over the place in salons. Judging by your responses to other people on this website, you don't strike me as the kind of person who would simply pay and walk out, if you were dissatisified. You've been quick to call people uneducated trash if they even disagree with you. Also you complain about having to explain things so many times. Then why did you post the same complaint twice? One last thing, I think Sally was just giving you some advice to save you a lot of headaches. Your replies to Shawonga just fuel her to writ emore to you.

the only reason why I responded that you were a baby to go to the doctor is because you said you had to go to the doctor due to what this hairstylist did. "on top of that, I had to end up seeing an eye doctor for the pain. The salon did nothing to compensate for this evil woman's actions." I only have the information you give me. You say I'm ignorant but I still don't know why you went to the doctor. first, it is because of the hair dresser, now it is because of some other medical problem. Make up your mind. I'm not trying to be hard on you because I do believe that you were unfairly treated. And stop responding to shonogwa or who ever that is. He or she "gets off" every time you respond.

Your ignorant judgments are absolutely ridiculous. I didn't go to the doctor because of the shampooing but because of the eye issue because of medical problems you have no knowledge of, and because there was discomfort not just because it 'happened.' Therefore, your ignorant opinion regarding "going to the doctor because of harsh shampooing and sticking a finger in the eye" is very stupid and based on absolute ignorance and lack of knowledge of the situation. If someone has asthma and has an experience which could affect their health I would consider you a very sick individual for putting them down to get their health checked, or if someone got injured in this same situation and it caused discomfort, So get a clue before you make random judgments based on ignorance and stupidity..and for Shawonga... get a life .. you are such a low class loser.. all you do is sit on this board and insult people...you are a bitter and seriously messed up individual.. dont you have Anything better to do .. obviously not, except sit around and put innocent victims downyou really have some serious mental problems and take your anger and bitterness out on innocent people on this msg board...you are truly a sick individual...Why dont you check yourself back into the mental hospital or prison you escaped from...

FIRST OF ALL, "ANONYMOUS FEMALE" WHO IS AFRAID TO DISCLOSE HER FIRST NAME, HAS GONE WAY OVER THE TOP. IT TAKES AN EXTREMELY INSECURE, FRIGHTENED, AND MENTALLY UNSTABLE WOMAN TO SIT STILL IN A CHAIR AS SOMEONE IS MUTILATING THEIR HAIR. IT ALSO TAKES A WOMAN WITH CHEERIOS FOR BRAINS TO THEN CONTINUE TO PAY THIS HAIRSTYLIST AND THEN LEAVE WITHOUT EVER LOOKING AT THE HAIRCUT SHE JUST RECEIVED. IT DOES NOT TAKE A GENIUS TO *SPEAK UP* WHEN SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING THAT WILL ADVERSELY AFFECT THEM. IT DOES NOT TAKE A GENIUS TO *GET UP AND LEAVE* IF SPEAKING UP DOES NOT WORK. First of all, missing two appointments does not constitute abusive behavior...however, having to go to the doctor for a rough shampoo, shampoo and a finger in the eye is a bit dramatic don't you think? I can't stand it when people rush off to the doctor every time they stub their toe. Get over it! But I will agree that you should have been compensated.
