It looks like Jerry Buden is at it again. Jerry Buden formally the president of Rock Solid Associates, has changed his company name to Capital Acquisations in order to escape the negative press his former company was getting.

Capital Acquisations like Rock Solid Associates is associated with the parent company Credico, which is notorious for running a management training program that is based around door to door sales. Here is a breakdown of what Capital Acquisations is all about.

After applying for the position you will be put in a first round interview with Jerry. Upon walking into the office you will probably notice that there are at least 5-10 other applicants as well. This should be a big red flag for most people, but the kind of people Capital Acquisations prey on are recent college graduates who cannot find jobs, and desperate people who cannot find jobs. The interview with Jerry will last 5-7 minutes at the most and he will explain what client they work for and if hes interested you will get a call back for the second round interview.

You come in for the second interview and you are then paired up with a corporate trainer to go door to door selling Verizon Fios. The corporate trainer has been taught and memorized a script called the "Car ride Out" and the "Car ride Back" as well as the "Lunchtime Breakdown." The corporate trainer will generically ask you in the car on the way to your territory questions about marketing. He will make you tell him that face to face marketing is the best and that is what you are doing by answering his questions. Once you arrive in the territory you go door to door for about 4 hours until lunch time. At lunch time the corporate trainer will break down the compensation and corporate structure. This is where everyone gets sold on the opportunity. They will explain that starting out as an Account Executive you make 300-500 dollars a week and can be promoted in as little to 2-4 weeks. Corporate Trainers like them make 600-1000 dollars a week and can be promoted within 6-8 months. Assistant managers make 1200-1500 and can be promoted with 2-3 months, Executive managers like Jerry, make 85-120k a year. If you paid close attention you will realize that the executive pay is differnet from the first three, which is another red flag. They will tell you that they only promote from within and you will only make commission for any sales you close. If you still decide to continue the day, you go door to door for another 4 hours and on the ride back the corporate trainer will ask you a lot of standard interview questions. This is done to make you feel intimidated and the corporate trainer is not actually writing anything down at all. They will explain why you will hear loud music and chanting when you come back to the office and tell you that Jerry will call you in for a third interview.

You get to the third interview and before you are asked to fill out a questionaire about your day. This usually gets thrown away and is only used to fool you into thinking they are a legit company. You will eventually get called in for a third interview with Jerry, your Corporate Trainer, and maybe an Assistant Manager if they have one. Jerry will challenge your worth and challenge you if you're interested in the job. Eventually after accepting the job Jerry will offer the job to you and the Corporate Trainer you followed around all day will be your new Leader. Your leader will be responsible for training you and making sure you don't quit so they can get ahead. Your journey will begin the next day.

Some last closing details.

Ask Jerry Who is Rock Solid Associates? and pay attention what he says.

Commission only. You do not get paid a base salary. No sales for the week means you wont see a paycheck either.

You don't get paid until after the 2nd week of your first close. That means if you close during your first week you will recieve your first paycheck during your 3rd week. If it takes you until your 2nd week, you will not get a paycheck until after a month with the company. Your first paycheck will only likely be $100 or so if you only managed one close the first week. That is $100 for 3-4 weeks of work 60-80 hours a day.

You don't get paid back for gas and there are no company benefits. Corporate Trainers are supposed to pay drivers $5 a day for gas, but a lot of them wont do it still. If you own a car and end up being a driver, you will drive your car into the ground with gas and wear and tear on your vehicle. You usually have to drive 30-40 minutes to your territory, drop everyone in your car off, pick them off and drive 30-40 minutes back.

Hopefully this report helps. Will update if Jerry changes his company name yet again.

I litereally worked at Capitol Acquistions for one. The same day I quit my mother did research about the company and come across the article on this website thanks to the department of labor. Everything that was said in the article was told to me. It like a mirror image.

So I had an interview with them today but something didn't sit right. I asked the lady who sent the email various questions (she called prior to the questions) after viewing this site. She ignored the email and the calls as well. Said the location was on ft Meyer dr in Arlington, VA ...  these are the questions that I asked

1. Who are your clients?

2. Who is your company president?

3. Is this position indoor or outdoor,  is this a door to door selling position?

4. If hired, how long will it be until I receive the first paycheck?

No answer by phone or email ... it's a spam. Be careful

Rock Solid Associates is now Rock Solid Corp. and has now relocated to Roseville, Minnesota. It is the exact same thing! I went through the first interview. I saw many other college students inside. I was called in for a five minute interview, and the president of the company kept mentioning a face-to-face marketing technique which he did not explain at all! I went home and was eventually called back in for the second round of interviews.

It was all shady, but I didn't think anything of it until my mother decided to do some research and found these reports. If it wasnt for these reports I would have been sucked into this trap! So Thank You!

Some more information:

They are now officially working with Staples instead of Verizon.

This job is 100% commission, and does NOT have a base salary.

There are no bennefits.

You will be going door to door selling stuff.

You will not get your first pay check for 3 weeks.

You will not get paid for the first 5 days you work there.
