Jensen Tire 108 and Fort Omaha, Ne Denied damaging rims! Omaha, Nebraska
On Nov 1, 2012, I took my car in to Jensen Tire(108 Fort St) to have my snow tires put on. 15 minutes before my appointment I took photos of my rims. (husband also had same problems with this shop) When I got my car back, all 4 rims were scratched beyond belief. Both Kenny Baas(manager) and Mr. Wright(corporate office) denied that they scratched my rims. Neither person wanted to look at my pictures that can not be disputed. They are very dishonest and do not want to take responsibility for the damage. They will tell you they have a touchless machine.
Another garage said it could have been done using the special wheel lock to get tires off a Lexus, stacking the tires on top of each other, or when a tool was used to take off balancing weights. Alot of mistakes were made. Lexus said they should only have used stick on weights for alloy tires(not what they used because alloy rims get scratched taking off and on weights). Jensen Tire also tried to sell me 16 inch steel rims for my car. Lexus said you can not use 16 inch rims because they would have rubbed on the calipers and messed up my brakes. Clearly these people do not know what they are doing. Even if Kenny Baas (30 years of experience!) did the tires himself. Todd from wheel tech(rim repair shop) said that they have many cars coming from Jensen with the same problem. My rims were only 3 years old. They are now ruined. I tried filing with BBB. Jensen Tire did not make any effort to fix the problem. Alot of good BBB is?! Now to small claims court. Don't go here if you value your tires or rims!!
