I bought several appliances from Jeff Lynch Appl and TV Center. They consist of a whirlpool duet washer and dryer with the stands, Kitchen Aid side by side in black, Kitchen Aid garbage disposal, Kitchen Aid smooth top conventional oven in black, Kitchen Aid dishwasher in black, Kitchen Aid microwave hood range, 2 27inch tv's and 2 32inch tv's. All said to be top of the line high end apliances.

The salesman JOHN said that the smooth top stoves were the easiest to keep clean expecially in black. Just wipe them off with a paper towel. No soap or cleaner is required!

Well the first time I used my stove the right front eye went out. That is right it was broke. After about 2 weeks they finally set up an appointment to fix the eye.

The man came out to fix it but he couldn't. So while he was putting the stove back in it's place he dented the front of it.

I informed my salesman JOHN and he said he would check on it. Instead he gave me asi's number to call. Well the repair man (KEVIN) from asi said the part was not in. It could take a few weeks.

So I call back as soon as I noticed the dent on the front of my new stove and woman on the phone was down right hateful and told me to be patient and if the repair man done it they would fix it. Big IF! Well the repair man from asi said the part was not in. It could take a few weeks.

So I tried the patient thing. Yeah it didn't work. So I call and talk to a man named MARK who who is head of repairs at jeff lynch. I got nowhere with him. He tried to tell me that it could not be replaced I had to wait for it to be fixed. Then he was talking something about buying a car and it breaking down. Nowhere near the same.

So I contact Mark Lynch (jeff lynch's son) he is now over the company sense his dad pasted away. I felt like I got nowhere I still had a broken stove. But the next day I did have the part. Mark L had it delivered to my home. That to me was tacky.

Well a different repair man came to fix it. It took forever but it finally got fixed all except for the dent which they were going to order the part for.

Well that was stove was delivered in November 2005 the day before Thanksgiving. Eye was fixed in January and the door is still on order I guess. And I bought the extended warranty!

To top it off the stove is losing enamel off the left front eye. And the hardest to keep clean!

I don't recommend buying a smooth top stove to anyone they are too hard to maintain!

Anyway I am tired of fighting theses people at jeff lynch and the rude woman at asi but I will continue because I don't have the money to buy another stove.

Maybe my next appliance will be with HH GREGG instead.

Sounds like you are angry at the wrong people. Jeff Lynch sells products. They would not intentionally sell you a faulty product, I am sure. Sounds like they responded to you in a timely manner. What do you want? If the dent wasn't reported right away, no one, even HH Gregg is going to offer to repair it. Did you see the repairman make the dent?? You should have said something right then, not two weeks later and you said asi was going to order a part for that. Sounds like they are doing everything to help you. I bought a very expensive dryer from Jeff Lynch and they delivered it, set it up, and it didn't work. They, with apologies, took it back and brought out another and made sure it worked. Their prices are very competitive and they do beat prices, guaranteed. I like them. I found this blog while looking at a plasma tv I plan on buying from Jeff Lynch. I like buying local, people usually try harder to please when they are a local business and I think Jeff Lynch does that.

I buy all my products from Jeff Lynch. I have bought Stoves, freezers and I plan on buying a 42" LCD this week from them. They always have great quality items and they always help when something is wrong with their products. Greenville SC needs more places like Jeff Lynch. This is a true American company.

I am almost embarassed to admit how many years I have been doing business with Jeff Lynch...almost as long as they have been open in Greenville! I realize this post is quite old, but it is new to me. I was surprised to read of someone having a bad experience with this company. But I suppose even the best may have a glitch in the gears from time to time. For my own part, I have bought everything from washers/dryers (3 different sets over the years), fridges (2), a range, a dishwasher and furniture from Jeff Lynch. I find that their price point is highly competitive, even with the "super" retailers close by. Their service has always been impeccable and I have always found them courteous from the sales person to the delivery person. So for whatever it's worth, this Greenville Gal gives them an "A" for value, convenience, and service. I think they are great at what they do and plan to continue doing business with them for many years to come.

I have always been quite impressed with Jeff Lynch. Their staff is courteous and professional. They are not "pushy" like some of the other places are. Their sales staff is knowledgeable about their products. (Unlike the kids working at Best Buy and other places.) I would recommend Jeff Lynch to anyone in the market to purchase TVs and appliances. i spoke to mr. mark lynch today he is the owner of the company. i wanted to let you know that he is willing to send another repair person out to my home for different problem the problems i had earlier with my stove have all been resolved by the team at jeff lynch and are in all good standings. after speaking to mr. lynch today i honestly feel he is trying to do the right thing where his customers are concerned. i am actually in the market for a new freezer and i think i will be buying it from jeff lynch tv and appliance center besides after all he does run the best deals and quickest delivery i do apologize for the confusion i hope to see you there if you are reading this.
