Oct 23, 2016 I purchased a vehicle from a used dealer in Kingman, Az. I had 1500 dollors in cash for 1200 to put as down payment and 300 for insurance.

I found a saturn and was to pay 200.00 on my payment. I then agreed to pay 1000 down with the other 200 put towards my first months payment. I asked the car dealer several times about how high the interest would be but he just changed the subject. My brother was with me because he wasco-signing and was going to be the registered owner of the car. They gave us temporary tags but because my brother

had to get to work we left getting no paperwork on the vehicle. 3 months later they called my brother to come pick up his new plates so he did and the registration with his name on it. We put the plates on the car and they were not due to be renewed until oct 31, 2017.

I proceeded to pay my 200.00 payments each month by calling westlake and paying with my debit card, I was never late but on Sept. 28, 2017 I woke up to my car gone. I called them and they informed me that i would have to pay

360.00 repo fee storage fees and the 200.00 payment that I was late on. I asked them what payment and I was told that the pmt i made with the car dealership was never applied to my car loan yet noone ever said anything each month that i made my payment by phone.

I also realized they were charging me about 30 to 40 percent interest on the loan of 5000.00. After making payments for a yr i still owed 4600.00. That week I worked and saved all i could to get my car. I emailed them all week everyday to inform them I would have all the money they wanted and i would pay that next Thursday to get my car returned to me. On that saturday I recieved a letter stating they were going to sell my car on that next wed. One day before I was due to get it out. I have since to get a letter letting me know how much it was sold for .

2 days ago my brother went to DMV to cancel the registration only to be told the car was never in his nameso they had every intention of stealing my car after a year of making payments. I have lost 3000 dollors and have no car. This is the first time I have ever financed and I am 63 years old. I live in a town where my job is kind of out in the middle of nowhere so now i have no car to get to and from work.

Cheating little old ladies is horrible, i needed my car. They still call everyday to threaten me so it is stressing me out,.
