Complaint Review: Jean Philippe Gerbi - New York New York

As IT Contractor for Credit Agrciole CIB in New York, I have been working in the most hostile workplace due to the incompetence of the IT senior management. More specifically, I observed for many years the behavior of one of them, Jean Philippe Gerbi. Everyone in the organization knows that he is the reason of the awful toxic working environment.

Jean Philippe Gerbi was appointed as CIO at Credit Agricole CIB in New York a couple of years ago. This invidual, also known as JPG, as he wants tobe called, was promoted out the blue, without any past experience. Immediately he decided to eliminate one by one several senior managers and consultants just because they were no part of his buddies.

Jean Philippe Gerbi is evil ! Stay away from him !

Jean Philippe is always trying to make friend with everyone but will never hesitate to stab you in the back a few minutes later. He has been abusing his staff for years in many ways, verbally in public or mantally nights and days. Jean Philippe enjoys mental harassment against the people he wants to control and destroy and he is suing his management position to do so. Jean Philippe Gerbi is a selfish manipulator with a narcissistic personality, someone who enjoy torturing people working under him, someone who never accept being wrong and being challenged, someone who knows everything and will always accuse and blame others to look good.

Also be aware that Jean Philippe is a manager who ask his staff to pay when they are one minute late in his meetings. His objective again is to show his power but also to use that money to go drinking and eating with his buddies afterwards. Jean Philippe is openly using double standards on a daily basis.

Jean Philippe Gerbi is well known with the organization as a very abusive manager, with the napoleon complex, respecting only himself, being overly agrssive and enjoying to show and abuse of his position for his personal benefit. Jean Philippe Gerbi has no concern for work life balance. He is expecting his staff to work and be available 24x7, including weekend without any compensation. Recently, one team member was on a business trip and became sick suddently. Jean Philippe Gerbi did not even as ask to stop working immediately despite the situation. He did not even call the him to make sure this person was ok. The guy kept working hard to fisnish the work and keep Jean Philippe happy. Jean Philippe Gerbi has created a toxic and fear based workplace where he treats employees, so badly micromanaging every aspects of their work, bullying them on a daily basis and creating a very high level of stress and burnout amongst employees and contractors that are not part of hid buddies.

But that's not all. Jean Philippe Gerbi also loves food and eating in fancy expensives restaurants or going to luxury resorts around to world. As a matter of fact, you can see many casino chips on his desk, so he can play with them in front of people. Jean Philippe also likes expensive watches and designer suits. He wears a different luxury watch every day showing his love for money and power. There have many rumors questionning from where these expesive watches were coming from to satiate his uncontrolled appetite for luxury.

Several complaints were filed to HR for the past couple of years about Jean Philippe Gerbi abusive management and misconduct. Although Jean Philippe behavior is well known and despite the alerts raised by different employees, the situation has not changed. The staf is working under fear and stress with the sole objective to please Jean Philippe
