I ordered 2 pairs of suede moccasins for my husband from this piss poor excuse for a Company on September 21, 2001. About a month later I received my bank statement along with the canceled check which was cashed on September 28. I have also received at least 2 catalogs from JD Marvel since then, but I have yet to receive the moccasins.
I've attempted to contact the Company by phone numerous times only to get an annoying busy signal EVERY TIME. On November 15 I sent them an e-mail inquiring about the order. After waiting a couple of days for a response, I was running out of patience. I wrote a letter on November 17 explaining the situation, and basically told them that due to this very unpleasant experience I decided that I would rather not to business with them, and that I wanted my money refunded.
I'm sure that after reading the many complaints against this Company, you will not be surprised to know that as of today, (November 26) I have not received any response in regards to this matter... Not even a postcard explaining that the items are on back order, or an option whether to wait for the items or receive a refund. In my opinion, that is BAD BUSINESS!!! Next step? The Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, 7 on your side... Whatever it takes. My order only totaled $17.49, but the point is that these gougers are ripping off innocent people & they need to be stopped.
