I made the mistake of purchasing a car from JD Byrider. Issues seemed to start about a month after taking the vehicle home; however, not a single one of the issues I called JD's service department about were covered under warranty. So I sucked it up and paid for repairs.

Now fast forward several months. I received a settlement that I wanted to use as a down payment on a new vehicle; one I would not have to always worry about stranding me somewhere. We take it to a REPUTABLE car dealership only to find out during their trade-in inspection that there are signs of front end repairs, to which the Carfax report the dealership ran shows a history of moderate to severe front end damages occurring long before I took possession. JD Byrider never disclosed this to us at any time during the entire day we spent at their location. What's more interesting is the "Carfax" that JD presented during lease signing showed the car as clean.

JD Byrider's response to this when I called to question them how the same vehicle they said was clean had actually been involved in a front-end collision was "There's nothing we can do about it now". Are you serious?! JD Byrider does not care about their customers nor the safety of their customers! This company has mastered the way to make profit preying on people with no/bad-credit and the low-income population.
