In August or September I received a call from JT Card Services. I was told that if I paid an outrageous amount, I would receive a Visa or Mastercard pay-as-you-go card in the next four to six weeks. More than six weeks passed and I called them. I had not received a card and $99 had been withdrawn from my account. I complained about it and the guy told me it was because of household protection.
He couldn't tell me exactly what it was, but he could tell me that I could not get my money back because I didn't call to cancel it before my trial membership (that I didn't know that I had) ended. When I was transfered to someone else, I was refunded. I had also cancelled the card.
In the beginning of November, they called me to bribe me. They said if I wanted to still receive a card, I would receive three free nights at a Holiday Inn. I was told I would receive my free vacation and my card in the next week. I agreed. I called back several weeks later and they told me that my card had been sent out the previous Friday and that should be receiving a vacation as well.
In the beginning of January I still had not received anything. I called and the guy was very rude. He told me he had no idea if and when I would receive a card and said it wasn't their fault. He said I couldn't get a refund because I accepted a vacation. He tried transfering me to his supervisor and got hung-up on.
In the last week, I have been trying to reach them. Every time I get a busy signal and the three times I didn't, I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then disconnected. I have not received anything, I can not get through to them, they are rude, they can't guarantee anything anymore, and they have told lies-their fault or not.
