I received a letter from Chase that states they did not see any information regarding my request to close account. The letter mentioned DELL transaction that I did not request a claim. J P Morgan Chase representative confirm they have documentation that I requested the account to be closed. Once I received online banking notification of charges then I immediately called you about them. The account should have been closed to stop further fees/charges come through the account.
Therefore, J P Morgan Chase has failed to resolve this issue even though they have documentation that I requested the account be closed. The closure of the account would prevent most fees charged to account and allow me to file with Federal Trade Commission in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
My credit report at all Credit Bureaus (Experian, Equifax and Transunion) of the identity theft and not to open any accounts unless they can confirm it is me opening them. Basically, J P Morgan Chase wanted to force me to pay fees that could be avoided.
I do not understand why J P Morgan Chase continued to open accounts if there were amounts owed to Chase. No one mentioned there was a problem with overdrawn account. In addition, there wasn’t anything at TeleCheck I checked in which they confirmed that nothing negative on my file. I checked with ChexSytems in which Chase had not reported the overdrawn accounts until this year. I do not understand why they decided to report negative information a year later.
On September 20, 2016, I spoke to someone at Chase that confirmed I called to have the account closed and they could not close the account. Then he stated there were additional charges from a McDonald then proceed to badger and accuse me of using the account after requesting the close. I told him that I did not use the account after requesting the close of the account especially when there suspected fraudulent charges. I told him they could have temporary close the account to allow me time to resolve and/or find a resolution to the issue.
