iYogi iTechline Harmeet Singh Deliberate virus infection of PC in "helping" to install Total Defence PC Tune Up sold by Tiger Direct based in the US Gurgaon, India Delhi, India
I bought a PC optimizer software Total Defence PC Tune Up from Tiger Direct at tigerdirect.com 800 800 8300 Turns out that the instructions with the CD urge the buyer to call 877 559 5873 to get live free installation and unlimited product support and open www.1mb.com at the same time. Turns out that the phone call goes to a fraudulent outfit in Gurgaon, a suburb of New Delhi, India. All these guys do is to try to get you to allow them access to your PC and infect it, and then claim that so much is wrong and try to get you to give them your credit card number to charge you for "repairing" your PC to return it to normal functioning. That too in not too polished English. Refer to Ripoff Reports 1134291 dated 27 March 2014`by JeanEB Cocoanut Beach FL and to reports 1133637 dated 25 March 2014 report 1117685 22 March 2014 and 1116420 dated 17 Jan 2014. Their victim experience is the same as mine. Both Tiger Direct at 800 800 8300 and 800 955 1888 who highly recommend buying this PC performance optimizer software through them and Total Defence Inc 555, Twin Dolphin Drive Suite 610 Redwood City, CA 94065 are complicit in perpetrating this fraud in urging people in bold colorful print giving the toll free (as though it is based in the US) 877 559 5873 enclosed with the software, to call the fraudulent iYogi Inc tech support in India just so they can be set up to be ripped off.
