During Phil Lechter’s 2017 TECTalks event (August 25th-27th), Colton Fitzgerald was brought on stage and given a $20k giveaway as part of a drawing at the event. At the event Phillip Lechter, Chris Record and Jim Piccolo made it sound as though he would be receiving the prize only a couple of days after the event was over.
They had him sign an agreement stating that Tecademics (IQUP) would pay the prize over a period of a couple of months. They have not paid a single dollar and when Colton told Philip Lechter that he would be contacting an attorney, he told him “go ahead, it won’t get you paid any faster”.
This company and Phil Lechter have 0 plans of giving this money away, and it feels like people should know and understand this story before purchasing any products from Chris Record, Jim Piccolo or Phil Lechter.

Other prizes have been reported unawarded from IQUP including: (2) winners of a trip to Bora Bora, a BMW i8, and another $20,0000 winner.
