As I rebuttaled to John's response. You people really take others for a fool. There is NO conventions, you appearently work for them, and your people only know how to extort hard earn money from people. Let's start from the begining, I went to the illeged 2001 Convention in DC, there was NO convention. I had a fiend in Florida check out the 2002 convention, again there was none. If you look at the flyers you received for these conventions you'll see first hand, they're identical. In fact just to show America how much of a scam this is, I will write my own rip off report today a list exactly what each of these letters and flyers say. Then the public will know what the scam actually looks like. You can't prey on people's talent and abilities and extort them for your little scam. The people will stop you.

My husband entered an famous poets society contest. He also received a letter that his poem had been chosen. The letter did NOT say he had won anything yet! It simply informed him that they wanted to include his work in their anthology. We then received an invitation to the poetry convention mentioned in the letter above. Yes it was expensive but we went and had a wonderful time! There were shows and seminars just as promised. It was in the VERY nice Wyndham Palace Resort hotel and we were treated first class. There was a champagne reception on the first day, seminars on the second and third days,a very nice sit down dinner and show on the second night and an award ceremony (where lots of people DID win great prizes)on the last day. There was also a very nice trophy and engraved gold medalion the was given out to all who were chosen to attend. We really enjoyed it and hope to be chosen to go again this year as my hubby has entered another great poem. Everytime we called we spoke immediately to a very nice lady who answered the phone and expect to receive our antholgy very soon. We did not even have to buy the anthology because we attended the convention. I'm sorry that everyone did not have as positive an experience as we did.
