I need a job, always wanted to be a consultant and figured how bad could it be? I was wrong. Like business owners, I would suggest performing your due dilligence prior to an engagement with this firm. I went through the training and saw "consultants" who did not possess basic math skills. Your travel expenses will not be covered by their program. Also, if you leave they will ignore your expense report and you will be out several hundred if not thousands of dollars. I don't care how bad you need the work...don't work at IPA, it will cost you more money than you will earn.
Business owners, ask if the Business Analyst is qualified. I was, unlike most of my peers (I never mentioned that I worked for IPA and was hired by a legitimate consulting firm). If the Business Analyst has no degree, no experience, no advanced degree ask them to leave. They will give you a song and dance about calling the office...IT IS YOU BUSINESS, IF YOU CARE ABOUT IT THROW THEM OUT.
I know of instances where the SBA was asked to leave, the SBA calls back to the office where they are told not to leave and the authorties are called to remove the IPA employee from the property. Normal businesses do not operate this way, it is a high pressure high dollar sale. Protect yourself.

Your site has just saved me from making the worst decision in my life. I had just received my instructions to fly to IPA and start training. By the grace of the Gods I decided to Google the company and low and behold, there was your reports. Keep up the good work and many thanks for being here. Also companies like Career Builders, Monster, Yahoo Jobs and others, do not let this company place ads on your sites. Who knows who might have duped already and they could not access Ripoff Report.
