Unfortunely, I too have fallen victim to Integra Financial Benefits' scam. On April 11, 2005 I was contacted by this FRAUDULANT company on my cell phone and was told that I was pre-approved for an unsecured MasterCard with a 0% interest rate for one year. I was also told that if i made my payments on time that my limit would be increased every six months by $1,000. I was more than happy to give them my information. I am a 25 year old single mother of two children. Needless to say money is very tight.

After providing my social security number, address, and banking information I was then offered a free trial phone card (1800-634-2979) and was asked questions by a recording and my answers were recorded. On several of the questions I noticed that even when I spoke very clearly I was asked to repeat myself. But only when the answer was "yes". Once that was completed, I was told that I would receive my card within 25 business days. Of course I never received the card and when I called the number that was given to me I was either hung up on after being told to wait a couple more days, told that "MasterCard" was behind in the shipping department, and also that their systems were down and to call back tomorrow. That is when I started to research this company.

I fist called the real Integra Financial and was told that they have received several calls and that this other company "Integra Financial Benefits" was a fraudulant company. I was then advised to call PHONE BUSTERS at 1-888-495-8501. I spoke with a woman named Linda. She was very nice and helpful. She informed me that so far they have received about 58 calls. I was advised to contact my local police department and to notify my bank. Which is what I did on my lunch break. I found out after about 1 hour and 40 minutes that my bank (VIRGINIA CREDIT UNION)sucks. I was basically told that I was out of luck. But was given the information of the bank that Integra Financial Benefits uses:

Summit State Bank

Santa Rosa Main, CA

Br. 70

Robert Stayner or Brandy Elitch

707-568-4955

I was transferred to Brandy Elitch and before I could really go into detail he cut me off and told me that he didn't beleive that they "Integra Financial Benefits" was a fraudulant company and he acted as if this was the first time he had ever heard this complaint. Little did he know that my bank had already told me that they referred someone else to him because of the same scam. There is also another report on this site created by Janelle Bechtel submitted on 3/22/05. She also was referred to Robert Stayner. At this point I am convinced that they are aware of this scam but are either turning a blind eye are are apart of it.

I was cc on the email that Brandy sent to Robert. So I forwarded him almost all of the stories from this site regarding this company and I sent an email questioning his knowledge of the scam. I am a very aggresive person and do not plan to let this die until justice is served!

Scott, I was reimbured in full for the amount of $249 on 5/26/05 by Robert Stayner. Below is the email that was sent to me from Robert: "Thank you for your dedicated research I have issued a credit to the account that was originally debited for the full amount of $249.00 on behalf of Integra Financial. Thank you, Robert Stayner Customer Service/ACH Specialist Payment Resource International A Trans First Company 620 Newport Center Dr. Ste.150 Toll Free:888-835-1777 Fax: 949-729-1181 mailto:[email protected]" I basically harrassed him until I was refunded my money. I strongly beleive that Robert is aware of what is going on with this company. I just don't have proof. Also, on 6/9/05 I finally received my package from Integra Financial. Of course there was no credit card but there were plenty of flyers and coupons. Oh, there was also an application for a credit card. So, basically people are paying $249 for a box of paper. I am really considering contacting the local news stations here in Richmond. Maybe someone can get this story out there and warn people of these types of scams.

I fell for the same scam processing company by the name of Payment Resources

Samantha, I called the processing company by the name of Payment Resources. I talked to a rep. and he said he would put in for a refund. I don't know how affective that will be. Like you, I am very aggressive. I took another number off of another post and called it and this Robert Stayner said " wrong number" and hung up the phone real fast. I called right back and got his machine. I am ready to take this all the way through so if you have any advice or any breakthrough please post.
