Indy Sports and Fitness bad for employees bad for business.
Indy Sports and Fitness is a rip off. It all started the summer of 1999. I was an employee and had been one for a year. I just moved to a full time position as a maintenance crew for the softball park. It all started my first check when I was not paid my rate that was guarenteed. Then my second check shorted me 17.5 hours. I was told "Its not in the budget to pay you overtime", by Brady Whitney, maintenance director. My job duties where to restock the bar which was illegal and would often put in 12 hour days which is also illegal for 16 year olds. The company refused to give me my money and also refused to answer my phone calls. Finally I contacted the Indiana Attourney Generals Office. Finally when I told them I was intending to sue them for many things including witholding payment, violation of Indiana child labor laws. Then they sent me a check. They also have no regards for customers. I would often be told to rip up customer complaints told that they dont matter.
