This company is a definite rip-off!!I read all these emails and completed tasks just so that I can accumulate $30, request my check and see if I really do get paid. My check arrived as scheduled, but check cashing places and banks flatly refused to cash my check. I then contacted the bank listed at the top of the check and provided the requested information... lo and behold, inbox dollars sent me a FAKE check. I did all that "work" for nothing. i contacted inbox dollars live support, received a stream of automated messages. shane stated they send out hundreds of checks a month, and that most check cashing places and banks will not cash a check from an out of state bank. So I need to cash the check at a bank where I have an account. I don't have a bank account, and that is BS. I received many checks from companies with out of state banks, and cashed them at check cashing places with no trouble. Most check cashing places and banks will not cash a PHONY check. He then added the BS line about inbox dollars maintaining transparency, blah blah blah. Bottom line is to avoid inbox dollars like the plague.

The CEO knows this company is a corrupt bunch of frauds, he's always posting "rebuttals" on this and various forums to defend his and his company's reputation. He mentions that CotterWeb is BBB accredited and they have A+ ratings...from years ago. I read complaint after complaint, and I wish I had done it before signing up for this mess. I can now expect my account to be terminated [like I care] and I can also expect my email and mailbox to be bombarded with junk from their partner companies [ that's the CEO's childish behavior, along with posting rebuttals].

I received my first check yesterday. I tried to cash it at a local gas station, whom normally cashes any check. I was told the company and their checks are fraudulent.

So as for your apologies Inbox Dollars, you're full of crap. I wasted time just like the individual who started this post. You are a company built on lies.

Thank you for wasting my time. I just had my first child and I was hoping to have some extra money on the side for the things that he needs that I can not otherwise afford.

I have cancelled my account and I will not be coming back.

InboxDollars has been in business for more than 10 years and we have paid our members more than 20 million dollars. We are not a scam/fraud company and we do not send fake/fraudulent checks. We are accredited with the Better Business Bureau with an A rating.

Many banks will not cash a check if the customer does not have an account with that bank. We recommend using a check cashing service for members who do not have bank accounts. Policies vary from service to service, but most check cashing facilities will cash checks from us.

To the author of this post we are sorry that you had trouble cashing our check. Thank you for working with our Member Services team and accepting a Prepaid Debit card to be rewarded for your online activities from InboxDollars.
