Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have used Inboxdollars frequently for quite a long time. Recently my account was terminated due to supposedly violating this companys terms and conditions. When trying to contact them, I can not find a number and every message I send is folled by almost the same response stating that I violated the terms and conditions by havbing multiple accounts.

I do not have multiple accounts. I believed my email to be hacked twice in a row and therefore I changed the email on the one account I had with them twice, leading to a total of three emails on the one account over time. I believe they were giving my email out to be hacked.

This sites terms and conditions say nothing against changing the email on your account, and they offer it as a feature under the "my account" section. Every time I changed an email, I stopped using that email to log in and stopped receiving emails from them to that account as well. All of a sudden I got a message from them stating that my account was terminated because all three emails were linked to different active accounts, which is untrue. Only one email was linked to my active account.

They refuse to give me the money I had earned (forty five dollars and change) and every time I write them all they respond with is a message stating that my account was deleted for me having multiple accounts. I spent valuable time and money earning enough money to request a check. I either want the money I spent back and compensation for my time, or I want my check.

I did go to the "my account" section, as I explain in my article. I changed my email through the "my account" section while logged into my account. I DID NOT create a new account. I no longer have received any emails in my previous email addresses from inboxdollars after changing the email address on my account the final time. There is only one account that I have used. Only one. Literally, only one. I changed the email on the same, yes same, account twice and then no longer received emails from inboxdollars to those email addresses. See my point here?\

Inbox dollars either has a glitch in the site that created multiple accounts without my knowledge, or my account was falsely terminated. I had one single account. Only one.

I had recently read your review and wanted to reach out to you to respond and provide some clarification regarding the Terms of Membership for InboxDollars.

  • InboxDollars does specify in it's terms that Members are not permitted to have multiple accounts from the same household, computer, and same mailing address.  This can be found in the terms of agreement on your membership page and on our website and I have provided you with a link for review.
  • InboxDollars does not release, sell, or disclose our Members information including email, name, address, or other personal data.
  • Members are able to update their email address on their current account and it does not result in a duplicate account being created.

The Support Center for our Members has articles to assist in how to update their information including Emails and does state that Members should not create a new account with us when your email address changes. It is not appropriate to create an entirely new account simply because your email address or other information changes. Doing so not only breaks the rules, but it can actually prevent you from being able to use your new email address with us.  Instead, you need to make the changes to your existing account. You simply visit the "My Profile" page under the "My Account" section, and make the appropriate changes there.

We also state on our site that should a member accidentally create a new account with us, to please let us know right away so we can assist you in resolving the situation.

We have assistance available for our Members through our LiveChat agents and are available  24 hrs a day and 365 days a year. For an issue that cannot be resolved by a LiveChat agent we also support our Members through our Resolution Center and responses are generally received either the same day or within 24/48 hrs.

We work very hard to ensure our Member experience is a satisfying one and hope our members will work with us to resolve any issues or questions they may have as quickly as possible but do ask our Members to assist with providing the details necessary in order to do so.
