The guys down at Import Auto Sales are your typical run of the mill used car dealers. They buy junky cars at the auction, peel the auction stickers off of them and put them on craigslist. If you buy a lemon from them, well, its your fault. The whole time I was in the office I had random employees trying to get another $100 from me here and there. They list the cars cheap, and when you get there the price goes up. I bought a junky little car from them, and I really don't have a problem with the car. I know it was junk, but it was cheap. The reason for this rip off report and what I am warning everybody about it they charged $400 for a tag. I just moved here, so I did not know... Anyway, i paid the $400 for the tag, and I never got the tag. I called several times just to get hung up on, or i got some rude answer like "we mailed it" and hung up on again. My paper tag expired two weeks ago, so i have a car that I can not drive... Stay away from these gypsy rip off artist!

I'm a used car dealer too. Our cars don't appear out of thin air. We buy new car trades and repos at the auction.
I sold a car to a guy that was going to title it in Florida - sold it for less than 3k - and he called a month later wanting an extra temp tag because registration fees were over $800. That's Florida.

Where did you think used car dealers got their inventory from?
