My iPass went negative unknowingly and reached about -$4 and some change after passing through a few tolls on different days. The next month, they charged me full price for 10 tolls that I went through. A week went by and they went back to charging my negative iPass account for a toll. I called today to see why they did that and I got quite a few excuses from a few different people... My iPass went inactive and then active again, it could be the software somehow, or their favorite... because simply, I have a negative account. I asked how long until my account goes inactive? They couldnt answer that. I asked why was my negative account charged again after having to pay full price? They couldnt answer that. The "lead guy on the floor" muted me then hung up on me after I asked him that. I asked why should I have to pay if there was a malfunction in your software. Thats when he panicked and said "I never said malfunction, I said the software SOMEHOW missed it"... So that's a malfunction right? They just kept insisting that I pay them (which I did bring my iPass to positive before I called them but I didnt pay the full priced tolls as I assumed it was a mistake). I told them I could have just paid online, I wanted answers. I just didnt think I should have to pay the full amount for that 1 month in the middle when I'm clearly and iPass user and my account was clearly still active.
