HWA - HOME WARRANTY OF AMERICA Home Warranty of America EXCUSES, DELAYS, DENIALS OF CLAIMS AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE LINCOLNSHIRE, Illinois
With every claim call to HWA - Home Warranty of America, I have experienced poor customer service and lack of urgency in sending help. This home warranty company has been a complete waste of money and time and I strongly suggest using a more reputable company like American Home Shield.
After speaking with HWA Supervisors, my Pool parts have been denied, my claim for kitchen sink stoppage has been delayed 4 days, and my main shower would not turn off without shutting off water to the house. There was a claim made over 24 hours ago and they set me up with a plumber that cannot arrive earlier than 4 days.
Considering the ignorance and lack of compassion of customer service and so called "Supervisors" at HWA, I have come to the conclusion they only waste time. Tomorrow, I will be getting what I'm sure will be a heavily prorated refund (if they don't screw me on that also).
This is a WARNING: Beware of HWA - Home Warranty of America. Lots of promises, little delivery and stupidity beyond belief. Spend your money elsewhere for piece of mind and less hassle.
