Huge Domains took my website name after GoDaddy neglected to tell me it expired. When I called GoDaddy, they shrugged and said I should have check my SPAM. What??? When I did, nothing was there anyway. 2) They said they called me. Nope. Nothing on my phone with their number (and I have their number in my contacts). 3) I went up the ranks to talk to someone and they dropped the "hint" that HugeDomains might have it.
And they did. For $895, I can have it back. Isn't this like blackmailing?
I believe the two companies are connected, because I let a name go on purpose and guess who owned it minutes later? Huge Domains. Now for a domain name that would have cost me $9 from GoDaddy is $9 to get back from HugeDomains.
Go Daddy seems to let me know about other websites I have (sorry, "had", because I won't work with them again. It's just wayyyy too suspicious). I feel they deliberately let my personal name website go, which leads me to think HugeDomains might be GoDaddy's side business.
I'm very upset and want my website name back now! I didn't let it expire. As far as I'm concerned, it was taken from me.
P.S. I think that guy is right: The more you keep checking to see if your domain name is available, I think the longer HugeDomains holds on to it.

Typo fix: Should have said that: to renew at GoDaddy would have cost $9, but now it's going to cost me $895 (not $9) to get back from Huge Domains.
