I am in a similar situation with HRS USA, where they have now reported me to a collections agency... I had an agreement to pay off my balance on a washer dryer set with no interest financing if paid by jan 4, 2001... well, payments were completed on time and they said my deadline was dec. Well, I faxed them information showing that I paid everything. Now, I am being contacted by a collections agency who is saying that I haven't paid my finance fees. I told them I don't owe any financing fees because full payment was made on time. When I talked to HRS, they are now saying something different. I am pretty certain they are just trying to do whatever they can to get extra money from me and they are coming up with whatever excuses they want... How do I take care of this immediately? I don't want bad credit and I am out of the country for two more weeks, so I can't even walk into a Best Buy location (where i made my purchase) for another two weeks and they tell me to call HRS because HRS is their financer.... Thanks for your time. Sincerely, [email protected] Esther in Atlanta, GA "The fullness of life isn't measured in years alone."
