H&R BLOCK CARELESS SERVICE,RIPOFF BILLING & FALSE CRA REPORT KANAS CITY Missouri
A yearly tax return was done by H&R Block. An error was found after. They refused to redo. It was taken to another TAX COMPANY ,who found out that there was a $5,000.
error that I would have lost. I went back and wrote 2 leters
that I would not pay their bill of $121., They agreed that I shouldn't have to pay...2 different times. I heard nothing else.
Then I got complaints from my credit cards that my interest was raised because of "collection bills" and "deliquent charges"....[h&r block].
I called and the new manager refused to correct. I filed a "small claim", where some big shot from the Main Office of H&r Block talked me out of dropping my claim and that she would correct this. I did drop the complaint , where they turned around and did nothing. After another case was filed in court the District Manager came to court and did nothing but lie and the Clerk -Magistrate I had to file an iNJUSTICE
COMPLAINT TOO on his behaviour . It had taken the constant calling for them to finaly contact the credit reports to have the bad report moved...but after a loss of alot oftime and money. To date they say they tried to correct the credit report and alll 3 CRA's say they didn't. I may again take them back to court to recover my losses still yet. All because they are so greedy and don't want to admit they make BIG ERROR'S mainly because they hire part time people who are untrained for anything more than simple tax forms. BEWARE!!!!!

I too used H & R Block for my tax services for many years. I also worked for a couple of months for them one year. In using them for my taxes we too ran into many problems with them concerning our checks being delayed or denied. When in actuality they should not have been delayed or denied. They would never help or give any answers, they always blamed someone else when at times I could prove them to be at fault. I started to question our refund amounts and decided to do my own taxes through an on line company this past year. Would you believe that our refund amount doubled when using the online service? There are plenty of ways to get your taxes back rapidly without having to use H&R Block. You have time now before the tax season begins to start doing your research and find someone else to help you with your taxes. Stop giving them all of your money and then some! The prices with H&R Block go up every year. Faster than you probably get a pay raise yourself. When more and more people stop using them, they will be forced to change their ways. They continue to do the things that they do because people continue using them! They are not the only place to get a rapid refund. As a matter of fact, the other places are cheaper! We all have paid a great deal of money to them over the years and we should be able to demand better service from them! How many of them would want to be treated the way a great deal of their consumers have been treated! You pay for a service that they guarantee, and yet when it comes down to it they will not stand by their promises! Without us the consumers, where would some of these companies be? OUT OF BUSINESS!!!! I will also add that some of the employees of this company do not realize what is going on like the higher ups do!!!!
