Is there a class action against Household Mortgage Service? This is just part of the nightmare I have experience with them.

I refinanced with them 65,000.00, on an adjustable 15 year, with the understanding I would be able to participate in one of their program that would lower my interest rate after six months. After six months they would not allow me to participate; sighting I had missed a payment. My payments were supposed to be on auto pay.

I had several confrontations with their representatives was told they could see I asked for auto but for some reason it was not set up. They still refused to set me in the program. They miss manage my account; my adjustable rate was always wrong, unexplained late fees was added to my account I asked them to send me a written explanation, never sent. With all the extra charges my monthly note went from 554.00 to 787.00, I was always behind, interest rate, late fees and what they called miscellaneous/other grew to the point of 24,356.42. I was forced to file Chapter 13 just to save my home.

After filing Chapter 13 I put the house up for sale - had four difference buyers, each time I requested the payoff in writing/over the phone and even had my pre paid legal send them a request latter starting back in 2002 - to this day they have not sent a payoff nor have they sent me a copy of history. Illness was the reason I took the loan in the first place, they made a bad situation worst. Their representatives gave me the run around, stalled the process causing me to lose each buyer. They called me at work, at home, on my cell each time they called it was so mean spirited and debasing.

Now I am told they are taking my home April 3, 2006. I called seeking a resolution; I was told I needed to get a lawyer. As to date; This Company and I have a very bad relational history; when I first became ill they were informed it didn't matter why or how I got to this point they never offered a solution I could handle. So I put my home up for sale to come out from under the debt. After they made me lose the last buyer, by not sending information needed to process the sale. I applied for loan to save my home and was approved; however the redemption period ends April 3, 2006 (not enough time to process - need two weeks). This company with their attornty uses their power to oppress and ware you down so you will just give up. My case was dismissed 12/01/06 they sold my house 11/03/2006. Their lawyers were relentless

I called the Bankruptcy Court and seeking a resolution/ask h*o were they able sale my home while I was under the protection of chapter 13; I was told to I needed to get a lawyer. Also; the mortgage company handling the refinance and I called Household Retail Services attorney seeking an extension hoping to avoid further confrontation, we are waiting for a call back.

This company and other predatory lenders need to be stopped people are suffering. I will send letters to the legal and consumer authorities also I will contact ACORN what real proof do they need? I will write Michigan Attorney General, Mr.
