I'm not saying that this company intentionally ripped me off. On the contrary, they did do what they said they would do. They printed a nice custom brochure for a local real estate firm that gave me an exclusive in my trade. And yes, the web portion did auto renew and I did agree to that at the time of signing the contract. All that happened as agreed.
However, them printing a nice brochure and the real estate company promoting or even using that brochure is in question. My guess is the brochcures didn't see a lot of circulation. And, the web site is terrible. I'm guessing the website does not see many hits. So yes, they did print a nice brochures and did distribute them to the relator and they did put my company on their website, but in my opinion it was all very ineffective.
It's unlikely that I'll ever sign another contract with any promotional company, but if I do, I will at the time of signing strike out all auto-renews. And in fact, I'll never agree to any auto-renews again.
Overall, this was a very poor experience and am glad it's over.
