Received letter dated 9/21/18 from Hertz Viking, Viking Bill Service stating that "we returned the vechicle we rented 6/7 to 6/10 with damages or were involved in an incident with a Hertz Corporate Vehicle."
Two separate claims were filed.....one with our insurance carrier and one with us. We responded denying the claims and received a response from Ellen G, Hertz Customer Correspondence Administrator, saying Hertz Senior Leadership Team resolved this matter although there was sidwall damage upon return. However, "Hertz will not pursue although a valid claim."
We responded to Ellen saying Hertz response was NOT valid, as they know, because car was not damaged upon return. Their claims were false. And Filing two separate claims is a Double Dipping Scam.
Texas Attorney's Office confirmed that this was a Scam based on many other complaints.
In closing we asked Hertz this question....."Why not make money the old fashion way......honestly, respectfully."
