My wife and I approached this dealership in mid-July relative to a flyer in the St. Petersburg Times referencing a gentlemen by the name of "John Taylor" from "Credit Rebuilders of America" who would be on-site for the week helping people get financing for people with credit blemishes. Upon our visit two weeks ago, we could never get a meeting with this gentlemen, and were never even told he was on the property--they were evasive. Instead, we were sent to look at vehicles with a young salesman and, when we started to leave because of the prices they had on their vehicles, he stated that we had to meet with a "sales manager" prior to leaving because it was "company policy." They then tried to sell us vehicles we would never have been interested in. We eventually left.

We noticed this week (August 1) that the ad appeared again, and we tried calling "Mr. Taylor." Each time we called, we were told he was "unavailable," or "out to lunch" but the person who answered said they were his "assistant" and could help us. I called them and spoke with them about this, and told them that this advertising was false, and that they didn't have any type of service for credit problems, that this person was even on property to provide "special financing" and that it was false advertising. The general sales manager called me back and started hurling expletives at me and we eventually got into a verbal confrontation about it. He then asked me to "come up to the dealership and talk with me like this," obviously a physical threat.

While my wife and I have no intention of buying from these people, they certainly need to be exposed for their false advertising to prevent people such as ourselves from driving all the way to their dealership for financing help that obviously doesn't exist. Carl Rosetti is the General Manager of the entire dealership. This false advertising should be stopped. We have contacted the St. Petersburg Times relative to this.

Having worked at a dealership and my wife working at one they use these names so when people call they know you have credit issues. So on the intercom the person answering the call will know the person calling could have credit issues. There is usually no one there by that name!
