I just want to tell you all my story so this doesnt happen to you.
I ordered last Nov 08' from Hearthsong for x-mas gifts. I just realized this last month that I was being charges $11.99 a month from a company called #mc TLG Live well 1-800-793-2318. Thats what the statement name read. So It was Saturday and I looked up the number and found TONS of articles about this scam. 1-800 flowers, travelocity, HEARTHSONG! Of all places. I call this live well number and ask them who they are and I would like to know how they got my credit card number. They said through Hearthsong. They said I clicked on a coupon and signed up for there "package" membership of $11.99 month. So I asked for a supervisor and he/she was buisy. So I hung up and called Hearthsong. They said it was a "sister" company and that if I clicked on a coupon and clicked yes I signed up for it! They said I should have gotten a package in the mail and a member card. So I said you mean to tell me you gave my credit card number away to a scam company? She said well no you did. I said I most certainly did not order x-mas gifts and then signed up ON THE SAME SITE for a travel membership.I have never been contacted -mailed anything. So now Im mad, real mad. She said she couldnt do anything I need to take it up with live well. I said but its your site? How is this not your problem. You gave away my credit card number. She claims that its a button I clicked and Im the one who signed up. Yada yada yada. NO! I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR ANYTHING! I did yell and she hung up on me. I shouldnt have yelled but she keep talking over me and wouldnt let me say anything.I Just wanted to get my children christmas gifts. OH Im so angry this is what its all coming down to. Hearthsong of all places is partners with scammers. So mom and dads tell you family and friends to be very very carefull after ordering through this company. I wil NEVER order from Hearthsong again.
