Complaint Review: Harry Johnson Jr - Miami Florida

Thank you!! i am just so happy, it is catching up with him...When we booked there was nothing online, if you put his name in...now my viideo come up....He is a crook...They did post my review on HOmeAway today. I was happy about that! I would have never booked the proerty had i seen the last 2 reviews on that site.

Sorry you had a bad experience too..We only booked 3 days, thank God....and we left after the second night....We never asked for our money back....the only time i asked was when we arrived....and was told on the phone by Harry that we signed an "as is" contract....i contacted my credit card company and they said i was out of luck if i signed it...it is hidden in the process and if you don't sign it at the end he keeps your money...

Hope this helps to get the word out about him...I have reported him to the compliance code because he is not supposed to rent this property for more than 6 months a year...I will not stop posting any place i can to get the word out about this man....He is a real peice of work...

Take care and hope to never have an experience like this again..I learned a real huge lesson...i agree do you Due diligence on this man and his properties...and i will continue posting about him...every chance i get..ha!!

So sorry to hear you had a horrible experience as I did dealing with this person. I hope that peope do their due diligence before booking a property with him. I also attempted to file a complaint with Home Away and as suspected was told that because I didn't actually stay at the property I could not. Which makes no f*ing sense. So basically they are giving him the authority to srew people over instead of preventing renters from a horrible vacation. My father has been sick for over 2 years, this trip was planned months in advance to allow my siblings and friends some much needed vacation time to decompress and relax for a few days. That's what Home Away and similar sites forget to realize that we work hard for our money and we look forward to a booking a property where we can relax and not one that is falling apart.

WE had an awful experience with this horrible man on June 30, 2013...he has said we are trying to extort him it is almost comical!! How can we extort him....he has my money and i cannot get it back..I have nothing to gain from writing this..he has  a lot to lose!!

Here is his response...below....and the reason all these review are hitting at the same time..is because it has finally caught up with Harry!! he is an awful business man too....if you do a wiki-corp on him....you will see!! Do your DD on this man and his property...

Here is our awful experience in his nasty house on Sheridan Ave...Miami Beach Fl..He is not supposed to even be renting this property for more than 6 months...you should read very carefully the house rules before giving him a penny!!

If you notice, all of these reviews came on the same day. They are all from the same person. This person tried to extort me for money, a criminal offense. I have in writing from them asking for monies in exchange for not leaving a bad review. 

This is: 

* A Federal Offense

I have already contacted the State Attorney's office to file a criminial investigation into this Felony. I have also alerted Homeland Security as well
