This is the letter i wrote shawn yazdani of hannah imports on 5/9/05

Shawn,

I was expecting to hear from you especially after your conversation with randy on may 6th.

I can not tell you how disappointed I am was on may 4th 2005 upon the arrival of my 1998 jaguar coupe. I phoned you while the transport was present.

It is these type of false representations that discredit the good and honest people in our industry.

This 1998 Jaquar XK8 is a non-smoker, florida car and is carfax certified. This great looking luxury car comes with every options, power windows, dual power memory seats, Heated seats, power mirrors, power steering, leather seats, AM/FM/Cassette/6 CD changer Audio system, Dual front and passenger side airbags restraints, tilt wheel, cruise control, alloy wheels, keyless entry(1 remote 1 key), perfect color combination, The paint on this car is glossy and clean, the leather seats and the carpets are in great condition, this vehicle runs and drives great, and all power equipments are in great working condition, Based on carfax report the miles are not accurate on this car, but the service records shows that is the true miles, in any case we are selling this car as TMU(true miles unknown), but we feel considering the great condition of the car that the car realy represents the 58k miles, but we always disclose everything to you ,and let you make the decision, no reserve, so bid with confidence. As soon as the car was off the enclosed transport, the very first and obvious shock was that the front bumper, hood, passenger fender, passenger door blended up through the passenger windshield pillar was painted...and quite poorly!

As a fellow dealer you very well know the basics on "fish eyes", debris on the paint and rough edges behind hood and panels. you can see and feel the imperfections.

This was most insulting to deceive me, especially being in the automotive business. i thought there was some honor and consideration especially between fellow dealers.

A novice can clearly see. It was so obvious the clear coat was not polished out on the windshield pillar.

at highway speeds there is significant wind noise on the passenger side. The automatic lights do not work.

As for your opinion on excellent seats, there are two areas on the drivers seat inside, left lumbar where the leather is worn through. we would have replaced that section of leather, you should have at least indicated that in your description.

As for the wood center around the shift lever, left side there is a two inch crack. not only can you see it, you can feel it.

The passenger floor mat has a large stain that will not come out. (this i will admit is minor)

We have documented from the moment of the transport's arrival and have prepared to take action if necessary. this is now a matter of principal. We asked you specifically about the paint integrity, not just on your written descriptions.

I hope we can come to a mutual resolution. Please respond by week's end, friday may 13th.

The car arrived with mismatched tires, with the passenger rear having only 1/16th inch tread.
