GROILER FIRST DISNEY BOOKS IS A RIP OFF! *Rebuttal
When I recieved a phone call offering my daughter here 1st Disney Books I was so excited.
The thought of my daughter having issues of her favorite Disney characters teaching her how to count, distinguish objects, and learning her colors made me thrilled to say yes. Little did I know that I would be recieving an invoice that would offer no contact information other than an address.
So, I purchase a few books and for their price they weren't all that. I decided tha maybe I should cancel the order and go with a different line of books. First letter had a response telling me that I had to finish the terms of our agreement to 16 books. Fine, if I had agreed to that then I had no problem finishing our terms. So, 16 books came and went.
They even sent me a "complimentary" Disney 2002 Calendar that was said to be free, but later I was billed for it. So I paid for it, but sent a letter stating that I wished to terminate my account with them.
I was very polite, but still they sent me the same letter stating that I need to purchase a total of 16 books. UGH! Maybe they misunderstood my letter. So I sent another one stating that I had purchase the 16 minimum amount and I wanted to close my account.
I'm still getting the books and all I do is write "return to sender" on the front. I should've known something was up when they offered no contact information. UGH!

I have been dealing with Grolier Books for 3 years now, and have no problem what so ever. I first ordered my daughter the Dr. Seuss books, I ordered the amount I was supposed to (that they told me I would have to on the phone) I didn't want the rest, and cancelled, with no problem. I have also ordered the Alpha Pets series, it is a wonderful book set. When they call you on the phone, ask specific questions and they will tell you what
you have to buy, what it will cost you and they will tell you about shipping cost, just ask. I am totally satisified with this company, and I am sorry that anyone has had a bad experience with them. God Bless.
