     We are a family of three drivers and bought a 3 yr Platinum roadside assistance membership. We just had our membership cancelled due to what they consider over use. We had an unusual year with our cars each needing to use the service twice (flats, dead batteries, etc), all typical roadside assistance issues.

In 40 yrs of driving we have rarely used roadside assistance. When I called to inquire about the cancellation I was told we are costing them too much - no discussion just tough luck. They gave us 10 days to get new coverage from the time the cancellation letter was dated, we were already past the date by the time the letter arrived. The last time we used the service we called at 7:30 am and the assistance arrived after 10:30 am.
